Insurance Agency Lead Engine

100-Point Model
25 Agencies Scored
Python + Live Excel

A Python tool that scores and ranks insurance agencies as prospects. It applies a 100-point model across eight factors and writes a ranked Excel workbook with live formulas, so editing one weight rescores every lead. I used it to compile and rank a starter list of 25 agencies across NJ, PA, DE, and NYC.

A ranked spreadsheet of scored sales leads

The Problem

Finding good agency prospects by hand is slow and inconsistent. There is no clean way to compare one agency against another or decide who to call first.

What Was Built

A repeatable lead-list generator and scorer. It reads a list of agencies, applies a 100-point model across eight factors — size fit, proximity, web-presence gap, independence, longevity, line breadth, reputation, and a named decision-maker — and writes a formatted Excel workbook. Scores are live formulas: edit a weight on the Scoring Model sheet and every lead rescores instantly. Rerun any time from the command line.

The Result

A ranked, tiered list of 25 starter agencies across central NJ, eastern PA, Delaware, and NYC — with verified phone numbers for all 25, emails for most, a named decision-maker for nearly every one, and Google ratings checked directly. Work the top tier first, highest score down.
